Custom Entry Table

Beginning this project I inspiration from classic designs and other pieces of furniture around my house.  This Entry Table is constructed using pine, but can be made out of any wood.

Assembled using pocket holes, however if made from hardwood (walnut or cherry) I would opt for using a Dowelmax jig.

Farmhouse Pantry Shelves

Replacing builder grade wire shelving in an existing pantry to solid wood shelving.  
​
Starting with metal brackets purchased on Amazon and then designing the rest of the pantry. 
 
The shelves are made from 2x8 solid pine boards.  The boards were cut down to length and glued together to make the desired depth of each self.  All the selves are the same width, except the bottom one as it is a few inches smaller than the others "drink shelf"  The shelves are finished with a tung oil and left to cure.  Once cured tung oil is food-safe.
